Hey, I'm Peter, a designer in the UK. Curate is a gallery wall planner that runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or desktop. Upload a photo of your room or start in a ready-made room, with nothing to download and no account needed.
The tools meant to help
never quite did.
Gallery walls are where people get stuck. You find prints you love, guess the sizes and order the frames. Then you're on the floor surrounded by them, working out the arrangement before you commit to holes in the wall.
Some tools show one print on a stock room that looks nothing like yours. Others only work inside a single shop, so you plan with that shop's catalogue and a slider you nudge by eye.
None of them let you start from your own room, with your own mix of prints, and judge how each piece sits on the wall before you spend a penny. So I built the one I wanted.

Planning is free, in any room
Upload a photo or pick a ready-made room and plan your own photos on it for nothing. You pay once, £2.99 for one more room or £9.99 for ten, when you want AI print suggestions: the AI reads the room, suggests prints that suit it and lets you browse prints from stores on it. No subscription, and no account until you buy.
Your photo is never used to train AI
It goes to one outside service, Anthropic's Claude, which keeps it for 30 days for safety checks and never uses it to train AI. Nothing that says who you are goes with it. What the AI works out about your room stays with the room until the room is deleted, and AR camera frames are never stored or sent anywhere.
Use one of the ready-made rooms instead and upload nothing at all. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Accurate enough to plan, not to drill
The scale comes from the one object you draw round in the photo, so draw round it carelessly and everything after it is out by the same amount. It is accurate enough to judge fit and spacing, not a substitute for a pencil mark when you come to drill.
It never sells you prints or frames
You pay Curate for the planning, not for the pictures. Buy the prints and frames wherever you were going to buy them. Shops that put the planner on their own site pay a flat fee, never a cut of what you spend.
Suggestions, not orders
The AI reads your room, not your taste, so swap anything you would never hang for your own photo or a different print.
One person, and a reply within a day
Curate is young and changes often. Tell me what did not work and what you expected instead. The person who replies is the person who ships the fix.
