See it before you buy

The gallery wall visualizer that uses your own wall

Upload a photo of your wall. Curate reads the room, suggests prints that suit it, and sizes every one against your own furniture. Check the finished wall in AR before you buy a frame.

How it works

Four steps from a phone photo to a wall you can order

Nothing to install and no account to make. The gallery wall visualizer opens in your browser and walks you through the same four steps every time.

  1. 01

Upload a photo of your wall

Any phone photo taken straight on. No photo to hand? Start in one of nine ready-made rooms and swap yours in later.

  2. 02

Draw round a light switch or power socket

Trace a light switch, a socket or a sheet of A4. Curate uses it to size every print against your sofa and your ceiling.

  3. 03

Place prints, or pick a layout

Drag prints onto the wall, or start from one of 60+ layouts. Drop your own photos into the frames you already own.

  4. 04

Check it in AR, then order

Open the plan on your phone and hold it up to the wall. Walk round it, then save the measurements and buy the frames last.

How it sizes prints

An artwork viewer that puts every print on your own wall

From that one reference, Curate sizes every print, so you can see whether three prints fit above the sofa or one large one sits better.

AI print suggestions

Prints that suit the room in your photo

The same photo tells Curate your wall colours, the wood and metal already in the room, and the light. Take its suggestions, or ignore every one and pick your own.

AI print suggestions are the paid part, and your first uploaded room gets them free. Your own photos are free in every room. The privacy page explains what happens to your photo.

Six ways to check

Wall art visualizer apps, print packages and paper templates

Curate, Wallary, Wallpoet, Mixtiles and ArtPlacer all answer the same question: how will the prints look before you pay for them. They differ on whose wall you see, how many prints at once, and what you have at the end.

What happens when I click Place art on my wall?

The planner opens on the upload step in your browser. Add a photo, draw round a light switch or a sheet of A4, then drag prints onto the wall. There is no sign-up screen first.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. The AR preview needs a phone with a camera. There is nothing to install.

Is the wall art visualizer free to use online?

Yes. Planning and your own photos are free in every room, with no account. AI print suggestions and print browsing are free in your first uploaded room, then £2.99 for one more room or £9.99 for ten, paid once.

What photo should I take?

One photo of the wall, taken straight on, in daylight if you can, with the whole wall and a light switch or socket in shot. Skip the wide-angle setting: it bends the edges and throws the proportions off.

What happens to the photo of my room?

It goes to one outside AI service so the room can be read: Anthropic's Claude, which keeps it for 30 days for safety checks and never uses it to train AI. Nothing that names you goes with it, and what the AI works out stays with your room until the room is deleted. AR camera frames are never stored or sent. If you would rather not upload anything, use a ready-made room.

How close to real life is it?

Close enough to tell whether a print fits and how the wall will look together. Curate sizes each piece against the object you draw round, so photograph the wall straight on and take care over the outline. Check the wall itself before you drill.

Can I use it without a photo?

Yes. Start in one of the nine ready-made rooms, plan the wall there, and swap in a photo of your own wall whenever you have one.

Can I move the prints once they are placed?

Yes. Drag any print, resize it, swap it, or switch to another of the 60+ layouts. Curate keeps the gaps even as you move things.

Can I set my own print sizes?

Yes. Enter the dimensions of anything you already own, or the size you plan to order, and it sits in the layout beside everything else.

Can I use my own photographs?

Yes. Upload your own images and they sit in the layout at the size you plan to print them, so you can compare two sizes side by side before you order either.

Do I have to buy through Curate?

No. Curate is not tied to one shop. It saves the sizes and gaps, so you can order the frames and prints anywhere, or print your own photos.

What do I have at the end?

A saved wall with every size and gap, ready to buy the frames, and an AR view to hold up to the wall on hanging day.
